Bootmaker specializing in the creation of custom-made shoes for women.
I design with my clients, drawing inspiration from their desires and expectations, and then create, entirely by hand, each part that makes up the shoe until the final assembly. Whether it is the making of an everyday shoe, a special occasion shoe, or a prototype, my job gives me great freedom to satisfy all desires.
I am Italian and I arrived in Paris after studying visual anthropology and design. This path allowed me to make exceptional encounters in the world of French shoemaking, a real love at first sight that pushed me to make it my profession.
The Viaduct of the Arts – 53 Avenue Daumesnil – Paris 75012
My contemporary vision of the profession is based on very old know-how. The workshop is visible from the street, you can watch me cutting a skin and assembling a pair of shoes behind my workbench…. When you enter 53, you are immediately immersed in the colorful atmosphere scented with leather. I like to be able to welcome you in an authentic place, where every detail is thought out to inspire us mutually.
In my opinion, handmade women's shoes are mini architecture supporting the body, a beautiful object to be able to draw, pattern, prepare, stitch and finally assemble.
My approach to the object is based on the observation that the choice must come from oneself. It is not just a question of respecting the volumes of the foot or proposing a pretty design, custom-made, it is the deep dialogue, a synergy between the craftswoman and the client.I will accompany you in this process to understand your desires and arrive at "the model" which meets your needs and expectations.
We can inhabit an architecture, but not an object and the shoe is a void.
